PHILOSOPHY

At it's core, mastering is meant to make your music sound as good as it can sound. There is no alchemy, no dark magic; just deep, honest listening and the establishment of a process of aesthetic decision-making unique to your project that will result in your music sounding its best.

Mastering can be stressful and expensive, though it doesn't have to be either of those things. By understanding exactly what you want to communicate through your music, we can craft a sound that is warm, organic, and singularly yours.

FOCUS

I provide creative and affordable mastering primarily for ambient, experimental, and electronic music, though other genres are welcome as well. I work with clients to shape and elevate their sound by understanding their aesthetic and what they wish to communicate. Every artist's sound is unique and I approach each project accordingly.

I take on projects I find interesting, be it a live performance, installation, album, EP, film, or sound pack. Projects that say something unique, whatever the budget, deserve to be heard.

COLLABORATION

There are plenty of talented mastering engineers that specialize in analog mastering and preparing your music for vinyl. I am more concerned with digital techniques that lend themselves to making ambient, experimental, and electronic music come alive. In our current climate, the digital pipeline is an immediate way of meaningfully connecting with your listeners.
